Julie was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, California; she was introduced to the Lord at an early age and became very active in her local church. As a young girl drawn by God, she attended church and church functions without parental guidance. At the age of thirteen she moved to Riverside, California and there she joined Faith Temple Church Of God In Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Elder Joseph Sims. Early in she realized that the Faith Temple ministry would change her life and her view of who God was, the presence of God there gave her a deep desire to know more of her risen Savior.
 
Through many trials and turns in her adult life her relationship with God seem to be at a distance, but the words of the Lord continuously reminded her, “I will never leave you nor will I forsake you”. After drugs, and a bad relationship that almost caused her to lose her mind and take her own life, she returned to the place where she could find peace and security; the House of the Lord.
 
In the year of 1991 Julie surrendered all to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; she joined Life Church of God in Christ in Riverside, California. Under the tutorage of now Bishop Ron M. Gibson came growth, maturity and clarity of God’s Word. She remained under Bishop Gibson’s leadership until released by God to move forward in ministry.
 
Lady Julie Conerly seeks after the heart of God, realizing that if she seeks His heart He will extend His hand to open doors and opportunities He has already declared are hers. She has a heart for the people of God, and desires that all men, women and child come into a covenant relationship with God. Having the heart of God that no man should parish she realizes no matter the sin of man, they are still a soul.  
 
Lady Julie Conerly is a woman of God that stands firm on Romans 12:1 & 2 ~ I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
 
She is the wife of Pastor Byron Conerly, married for over twenty years. She is the First Lady of Forest Hill Church Ministries in Fort Worth, Texas. She and her husband reside in the city of Watauga, Texas. They have three adult children; Jahmar, Andre, Dejor’e, one daughter in love ~ Mieshia, and six beautiful grand-children; Jamiyah, Jahmar Jr., Jamie, Isaac, Jacob and Kyla.

After years of working on her testimony, Julie stands firm of the Word of God and all its promises. Knowing that God is a very present help in trouble, and that God is true to His Word, “He will never leave you nor forsake you”. In March 2016; Lady Conerly was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. In this season came the opportunity to trust God on a whole new level and after four rounds of Chemo she was told that the tumor was not shrinking but enlarging. While in her flesh she toiled, her spirit gave her the strength she needed to declare herself a winner. She began to tell God “God I trust you, and the Lord allowed her to experience the peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding.

First Lady Julie L. Conerly drifted into a sweet slumber on Wednesday November 1, 2017 with family at her side. Those left to cherish her sweet memories are her husband; Pastor Byron Conerly, children; Jahmer Pearson (Myesha), Andrea and Dejore' Pearson, six grandchildren, three siblings and a host of other relatives and friends.
